With Insulting Elegance, the President of Dif Michoacán Delivers Social Support
Andrea Rodríguez, the president of DIF, appeared in an expensive coat while delivering social support in Michoacán.
The current president of DIF Pátzcuaro, Andrea Rodríguez, has been making headlines in recent days. In particular, her luxurious style.
Andrea Rodríguez visits the most marginalized neighborhoods and communities of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán, with an elegant look that contrasts with the area's marginalization.

For the municipal official, delivering aid to the most needy seems to be more of an act to feed her ego.
During her visits, she is seen wearing outfits that are far from empathetic and sensitive to the people she visits.
The post went viral
The original post was in January 2025. Although several weeks have passed, it has gained national attention and gone viral.
The politician even deleted the Facebook post amid a wave of local criticism.

Julio Arreola ran in the 2024 electoral process and achieved reelection with the Morena-PT-PVEM alliance.
Pátzcuaro Government
The municipal president, in his speeches, emphasizes the importance of consolidating an open government close to the citizens.
"The key to good governance is honesty and transparency. We want people to trust their City Hall, to know that we are working responsibly"
he assures.

However, the outfits his wife wears don't promote that closeness and trust. On the contrary, they are insensitive and insulting, besides using people as accessories for her photos.
Pátzcuaro and austerity
Pátzcuaro, which has regions of vulnerable populations, is in the center of the state of Michoacán. It borders Tzintzuntzan to the north, Huiramba to the east, Salvador Escalante to the south, and Tingambato and Erongarícuaro to the west.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case, as on several occasions Morena politicians have failed to be austere. Late last year, photos emerged of Morena politicians with Tesla vehicles in Chilpancingo.
For now, there is only the indignation of the people at such moral abuses and the disdain of Mexican politicians, particularly from Morena. They say "first the poor," but they are the first to be forgotten.
