La Derecha Diario Javier Milei Will Meet With Elon Musk and Kristalina Georgieva During His Visit to the U.s.
The president will arrive in the United States on Thursday. Milei could meet with Trump at CPAC.
The national government confirmed that President Javier Milei will travel to the United States to hold key meetings with the American magnate and official Elon Musk, and with the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva.
However, it wasn't specified if there will be a meeting with President Donald Trump.
Tour itinerary
The Argentine president will depart on a special flight this Wednesday at midnight bound for Washington DC, where he is scheduled to land at 10:10 in the morning on Thursday (Argentina time).
That same day, at 5:15 PM, Milei will meet with Elon Musk, businessman and newly appointed Administrator of the White House Department of Efficiency. Then, at 7:00 PM, he will visit the IMF headquarters to meet with Kristalina Georgieva, in a key meeting for the country's financial relations.
On Friday, at 1:00 PM, the president will lecture on "The Argentine Economic Model" at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Subsequently, at 3:00 PM, he will meet with Ajay Benga, president of the World Bank, in another relevant meeting for the Argentine economy.
Participation in the Conservative Action Conference
On Saturday at 1:00 PM, Milei will deliver a speech at the Conservative Action Conference (CPAC), an event where Donald Trump will also be present. Although the presence of the former US president has caused expectations about a possible private meeting between the two, there is no official confirmation about it so far.
Return to Argentina
According to official government reports, Milei will depart back to Buenos Aires on Saturday at 10:00 PM and will land in the Argentine capital at 8:20 AM on Sunday.
