Juan Soler Suffers Attacks on Social Media for Expressing His Support for Right-wing Leaders

The Argentine actor based in Mexico was the target of criticism after expressing his admiration for Trump, Milei, and Bukele.

Mexico City, February 18, 2025.Juan Soler, an Argentine actor with a long career in Mexico, has been a victim of social media attacks after openly expressing his support for right-wing political leaders.

The criticism began after his participation in La Saga, the program by Adela Micha. In the interview, the actor spoke about his political preferences without fear of censorship.

Support for Trump, Milei, and Bukele

During the interview, Soler openly declared his affinity with leaders like Javier Milei, Donald Trump,Nayib Bukele, and Santiago Abascal.

"I'm a Republican, one hundred percent Trumpist, I love Milei, I love him deeply and in Spain, Santiago Abascal. I also love Bukele."

Soler also expressed his admiration for these leaders. According to him, in their countries, freedom of expression is more respected. He asserted that, in contrast, in many nations, progressivism has imposed an ideological agenda without allowing debate.

Additionally, he defended Donald Trump's immigration policy, stating that illegal immigration must be addressed firmly.

"What happens is that now everyone romanticizes crime, illegal immigration, the issue of sex change surgeries, etc."

Wave of social media attacks

After his statements, Soler was a target of criticism from progressive sectors that do not tolerate different opinions. On social media, some users attacked him and even suggested he leave Mexico.

Despite never speaking against Mexico, the intolerance of certain sectors was evident. The radical left has once again demonstrated its disdain for freedom of expression.

Progressivism, the true enemy of democracy

The case of Juan Soler confirms that, in Mexico, expressing conservative ideas leads to attacks and disqualifications. Those who do not share the leftist ideology are quickly labeled as traitors and face attempts at cancellation.

The true threat to democracy doesn't come from those who express their opinions freely. It comes from those who seek to silence any stance that doesn't align with their discourse.

Despite the wave of criticism, Soler did not change his stance. He reaffirmed his right to express his ideas, making it clear that censorship and intolerance will not make him back down.
