Problems for PRO: according to a survey it's not the party with the best image in CABA
Meanwhile, the polling firm CB Consultora revealed which figure holds the best image.
In a key election year, La Libertad Avanza (LLA) reaffirms its leadership in Buenos Aires City, consolidating the strength of Javier Milei and his libertarian vision. Despite political tensions and attempts by the old politics to resist the advance of this new paradigm, polls show that the libertarian ruling party remains the first choice for the people of Buenos Aires.
According to a survey by CB Consultora, the party founded by Milei positions itself with 27% of voting intention, making it the clear favorite in the Buenos Aires legislative elections. Meanwhile, traditional forces like Unión por la Patria (23.6%) and PRO (22.2%) try to remain competitive, although without the same strength as the libertarians.
The consolidation of La Libertad Avanza in the City
Since its emergence on the political scene, Javier Milei and La Libertad Avanza have changed the rules of the game in Argentine politics, proposing an agenda of economic freedom, reduction of public spending, and elimination of political privileges. This advance is reflected in the preference of Buenos Aires voters, who see LLA as the only real alternative for change.
The libertarian ruling party has demonstrated that its project is not a passing trend but a structural transformation that is here to stay. Despite media attacks and attempts by sectors of the establishment to discredit their management, Milei and his team continue to consolidate their leadership.

A clear example of LLA's strength in Buenos Aires City is the imminent fall of PRO, which has lost ground in the district it governed for the last 16 years. The lack of renewal and erratic strategies of Jorge Macri have led the yellow party to be relegated to a fight for second and third place.
Ramiro Marra and the betrayal of La Libertad Avanza
One of the issues that has caused controversy within the libertarian space is the recent expulsion of Ramiro Marra, who was one of the first to approach Javier Milei. The decision was made by Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency, after it was discovered that Marra had allegedly reached an agreement with Jorge Macri to support a tax increase in the City.
This type of betrayal has no place in the libertarian project, where transparency and coherence are essential values. Despite being displaced, Marra still has a significant level of recognition in the City, with a positive image of 41.3%. However, his departure from LLA could harm his political future, as he is unlikely to capture the libertarian vote without the support of Javier Milei and his movement.

The impact of Karina Milei on LLA's political structure
One of the most notable aspects of the report is the role of Karina Milei, who ranks seventh in the list of leaders with the best image in the City. Her figure has been key in the internal organization of LLA and in the purge of elements that did not align with the libertarian project.
Under her leadership, La Libertad Avanza has managed to structure a solid political force that doesn't depend on the traditional schemes of Argentine politics but on the people's will to break with decades of corruption, excessive spending, and state dirigisme.
Milei's strategy and the future of LLA in the City
Although Javier Milei is not directly on the ballot, his image remains the driving force behind La Libertad Avanza. People are not just voting for a party; they are voting for a radical change in the country, and in that sense, LLA's numbers reflect the confidence that the people of Buenos Aires continue to place in the President.
The CB Consultora report also highlights the "electoral ceiling" of the candidates, that is, the percentage of voters who might choose them. In this measurement, Manuel Adorni, presidential spokesperson and one of the main communicators of Milei's government, leads with a 44.3% electoral potential.

On the other hand, Leandro Santoro, from Unión por la Patria, reaches a ceiling of 43.5%, while Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, former Buenos Aires City Mayor, remains at 40.3%. Ramiro Marra, despite his scandal, maintains a ceiling of 35.3%, but with high chances of losing support after his break with LLA.
The weakening of PRO and Jorge Macri's strategy
One of the aspects that resonates most in this election is the decline of PRO, which has dominated the City for years but today fails to consolidate clear leadership. Jorge Macri, current Buenos Aires City Mayor, tried to distance himself from the national government by splitting the elections in the City and sending a project to suspend the PASO, which caused frictions within his own space.
Although there are rumors that Mauricio Macri might compete again, the truth is that his image no longer carries the same weight as in the past. The Buenos Aires electorate seems to have found in La Libertad Avanza the new political force that represents true change.
