Jorge Rial is said to have reached a million-dollar economic agreement with Fernando Burlando to take on the defense of his daughter Morena. The young woman is involved in a case of home burglaries in San Isidro.
The journalist Juan Etchegoyen revealed details of the agreement and the amount the host allegedly paid on Mitre Live. According to his information, Rial sought to halt the judicial storm his daughter faces after admitting her involvement in the incidents.
The reason behind the change of lawyer
For some time, it was known that Rial did not have a good relationship with Cipolla. The lawyer himself had publicly acknowledged the tension with the host, although he claimed to maintain a close bond with Morena.
Meanwhile, Rial denied having intervened in the decision to change lawyers and maintained that it was always his daughter who made those decisions. "The changes of lawyer were always decided by Morena," he stated.

Etchegoyen provided details about the agreement and assured that it is a million-dollar sum. "Burlando must be one of the most expensive lawyers in Argentina," he stated.

The next day, Friday, February 7, Burlando visited Morena at the police station and officially took on her defense. According to Etchegoyen's information, the economic agreement was allegedly 70,000 dollars for the lawyer to take on the case.
Is such a high amount normal?
The journalist consulted other lawyers about Burlando's fee and the response was clear. "They told me that, in similar situations, a lawyer can charge between 25,000 and 35,000 dollars. But considering Burlando's prestige and Rial's income, the amount of 70,000 dollars seems plausible," he explained.
With the defense in Burlando's hands, Morena Rial's case continues to progress, and more developments are expected in the coming days.
