Ibai Llanos Showed His Stunning New Look: 'he Looks Like a Different Person'

The popular Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos surprised his followers again with an unexpected change of appearance. Through a video shared on his social media, the content creator appeared without a beard for the first time in many years, leaving thousands of users shocked by his renewed look. However, the transformation soon sparked a debate on social media:  was it real or was it a montage?

Since he announced his temporary retirement from Twitch, Ibai has maintained his presence on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, X, and Instagram, where he shares videos with a lighter and quicker editing style. Recently, the streamer has also focused his content on his physical change, which has caused great interest among his followers.

The young man, unlike many celebrities, would be undertaking numerous diets and exercises not only to show a better physical appearance but because at his young age,  his weight gain has brought several health problems.

Last weekend, Ibai participated in the first day of the fifth split of the  Kings League, but this time with a different role than usual. Instead of being in the broadcast booth reacting to the matches, he was seen on the bench of Porcinos FC, his team, alongside the technical staff. His presence on the field reflected his interest in staying involved in the project from an active perspective, as currently his body allows it.

The commotion came when  Ibai posted a video on TikTok and Instagram showing himselfshaving his beard completely. For many of his followers, it was a shocking moment, as his beard had become one of his most characteristic features over the years. From his beginnings in the Professional Video Game League (LVP) in 2014 to the present, Ibai has always sported facial hair, so seeing him without it caused reactions of surprise and nostalgia.

Social media was filled with comments about his new look. While some users celebrated his decision and compared him to his younger version, others opined that his appearance with a beard was better. However, the controversy soon deflated when the most alert discovered the truth:  it had all been a montage.

Despite the initial shock, Ibai hadn't really shaved. The video was part of an advertising strategy for a shaving foam brand, and the final result was achieved using a filter. Although the streamer didn't confirm it directly, the images evidenced the trick, and followers quickly realized it.  "I believed it," "What a good filter he used," and "He fooled us all" were some of the most repeated comments on the posts.
