Fantino Anticipated the Media's Action Against Milei: 'months of Attack Are Coming'
The journalist analyzed the political scenario and warned how traditional media were going to operate against the government.
Alejandro Fantino accurately predicted what was going to happen with Javier Milei's government. The media and the red circle were going to align their strategies to undermine his image.
He said it before the controversy over the $LIBRA cryptocurrency and his words were evident after the coordinated attack the president received.

"Months of attack are coming"
In his program, Fantino was blunt: "Months of attack are coming. The government will be under fire". It was only a matter of time before traditional media deployed their arsenal against Milei, questioning his management and generating uncertainty in public opinion.
According to the journalist, this offensive doesn't respond to government errors, but to an attempt to stop the deep changes proposed by the president. "The red circle doesn't grasp the change of era", he stated.
The media wear strategy
Fantino explained that, unable to directly stop the government's reforms, the media would instill the idea that there are no advances. From opinion columns to pessimistic economic analyses, everything would serve to generate a sense of paralysis.
Fantino habló hace semanas sobre lo que iban a hacer los medios a Milei
Examples of this have already been seen in headlines about the economy: despite the drop in inflation, there was an attempt to suggest that activity is collapsing. "They'll say we can't sell to anyone, that the industry is falling apart," he predicted.
The relationship with the United States
The journalist also analyzed the international context. He spoke about the Free Trade Agreement with the United States and the expectations it generates. However, he clarified that these processes take time: "At least a year," his sources told him.

During that time, the government will face a constant disinformation campaign. "They'll say there's no progress, that the economy isn't taking off, when in reality they're organizing the mess that was left," he remarked.
Milei faces it with facts
Despite the media attack, Milei continues with his plan. In a recent interview, the president exposed the opposition's double standards and denied that the $LIBRA scandal affects his credibility. "I acted in good faith and got slapped," he acknowledged, but made it clear that the Argentine economy continues to recover.
The president also emphasized that his government maintains fiscal balance and that inflation continues to decrease. "We don't negotiate fiscal balance under any circumstances," he stated, highlighting that his administration achieved a primary surplus.

A key year for Argentine politics
Fantino also anticipated that Congress will be a key stage in this process. He assured that the ruling party, despite numerical difficulties, is achieving strategic agreements. "The lack of people in La Libertad Avanza isn't noticeable," he commented.
Looking ahead to the legislative elections, the journalist stated that the government could strengthen if it maintains control of inflation and continues to gain support in Congress.
