Pedro Haces Promotes Wage Garnishment for the Benefit of His Daughter's Business
The legislator sought to favor Inmediprest, a company linked to his daughter and close politicians.
A corruption scandal shakes Morena after it was revealed that a party deputy promoted a reform to benefit Inmediprest, a financial company linked to his family and political partners.
This initiative aimed to garnish workers' wages if they couldn't pay their payroll loans. A clear abuse that demonstrates how private interests of the Morena leadership are protected from power.

Inmediprest: a financial company with connections in Morena
The financial company promoted by the deputy has close ties with state and municipal governments controlled by Morena. This was revealed by an investigation by MCCI, which exposed that another shareholder of Inmediprest is the company Chemok.
One of its main partners, Samuel Mustri Amiga, was reported to the PGR in 2016 for alleged operations with illicit resources.
Another shareholder is Jesús Enrique Cuellar, a former candidate for deputy for Fuerza por México, a party linked to union leader Pedro Haces, another figure with connections in power.

The corruption network reaches the legislator's own family. Jesús Enrique Cuellar Guzmán, a partner of the financial company, is also linked to Pedro Enrique and Martha Haces, children of the Morena deputy.
Martha Haces is part of the Board of Directors of Inmediprest, where she has served as an independent advisor since October 2024.

Officials linked to the legislator control the financial company
The scandal doesn't end there. Several high-ranking officials of Inmediprest have a direct relationship with the Morena legislator.
- Pablo Enrique Gutiérrez, treasurer of Inmediprest, was Secretary of Administration of Fuerza por México and was pointed out by the INE for irregular handling of resources.
- Cayetano Víctor Leal López, patrimonial advisor of Inmediprest, is a bullfighting entrepreneur who founded the Mexican Association of Bullfighting together with Pedro Haces.

An attempt at looting disguised as reform
The controversial delegated collection reform, promoted by the Morena deputy, had the sole purpose of benefiting Inmediprest and its partners. If approved, it would allow credit institutions to garnish workers' wages to collect payroll loans.
This case exposes how Morena continues to favor its leadership with reforms that violate workers' rights. Another example of how the party in power is willing to loot citizens to enrich its close associates.
