Delfina Gómez discriminates by inaugurating the first clinic for LGBT minorities

In the State of Mexico, the new health center will provide free care in various medical specialties.

Estado de México.- Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez inaugurated the first clinic with an exclusive focus on progressive groups, highlighting the Morena government's preference for catering to certain sectors instead of improving the healthcare system for the entire population.

Meanwhile, thousands of Mexicans face shortages in public hospitals, this new clinic will offer free medical services only for certain sectors, with specialties such as gynecology, urology, psychology, nutrition, and laboratory analysis. However, doubts remain about the true access criteria and whether it will really benefit those who need it most.

Services to be offered

According to the state government, the clinic will offer:

  • Gynecology and urology: Focused care on reproductive health.
  • Psychology: Emotional support and therapy for specific groups.
  • Nutrition: Dietary advice in line with the progressive agenda.
  • Laboratory analysis: Medical studies without clarity on their real scope.

The staff has been "trained" to provide care without prejudice, suggesting that in other public hospitals, doctors do not, a narrative that seeks to discredit health professionals who have worked in precarious conditions due to the same government.

Delfina Gómez boasts inclusion while the healthcare system crumbles

During the inauguration, Delfina Gómez stated that her administration is "building a fairer and more inclusive healthcare system." However, this contrasts with the reality of hundreds of state hospitals that remain in crisis due to a lack of medicines and infrastructure.

"We are building a fairer and more inclusive healthcare system. No one should be left out of the right to medical care," said the governor.

The question is: what about the citizens who do not fit into the progressive agenda? Why must they continue to suffer from the shortage of medicines and medical care in overcrowded hospitals?

An ideological clinic instead of real solutions

While the country faces a health crisis, Morena continues to focus on imposing its agenda instead of solving structural problems. The inauguration of this clinic is another attempt to divert attention from the real issues facing the health sector.

The state government has announced informational campaigns so that more people can learn about these services, although it has not clarified how beneficiaries will be chosen or what criteria will be used to ensure equitable access.

Mixed reactions

The opening of this clinic has caused criticism from various sectors. While some see it as an initiative for certain groups, others consider it a waste of resources that should be allocated to public hospitals in crisis.

The reality is that this clinic is another political strategy by Delfina Gómez's government, which prefers to prioritize its ideological base instead of improving access to healthcare for all citizens of Estado de México.
