The 4T handed over Mexico's sovereignty to the 2030 Agenda

With the 4T governments, progress is faster in implementing this global agenda.

The 2030 Agenda is a global plan that establishes 17 Sustainable Development Goals for the international community.

It was approved by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 with the purpose of guiding countries' efforts toward a sustainable development model.

Mexico and the 2030 Agenda

In Mexico, the sustainable development strategy prioritizes different key dimensions:

  • Social well-being.
  • Environmental protection.
  • Economic reactivation.
  • Equity and social justice.

In 2024, Chancellor Alicia Bárcena, representing former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, reaffirmed the country's commitment to this global agenda.

Priority topics for Mexico

Over the years, Mexico has promoted specific approaches within the agenda:

  • Social and economic inclusion.
  • A multidimensional approach to measuring poverty.
  • Gender equality and women's empowerment.
  • Rights of indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples.
  • Actions against climate change.

The other side of the 2030 Agenda

This plan isn't new. Its origin dates back to the year 2000 with the Millennium Development Goals, which were to be achieved by 2015.

However, by that year, almost none of the 8 goals had been reached.

A global control project

In 2015, the UN launched the 2030 Agenda, aiming to reform different aspects of the world order.

Under the argument of protecting the planet, a series of measures are promoted that reduce the sovereignty of nation-states.

Who sets the rules?

The first step was the creation of a supranational body with decision-making power over all countries.

This entity establishes global norms that directly impact people's lives, even though nobody voted for or elected them.

CO2 taxes and economic control

One of the pillars of this agenda is the imposition of CO2 taxes.

This means that any human activity that generates pollution will be required to pay taxes.

Imposition of new ideologies

Besides economic control, the 2030 Agenda seeks to impose new ideologies.

Among them, the promotion of concepts like radical feminism and gender ideology.

All of this is promoted by international bureaucracies that nobody elected.

The ultimate goal is clear: a controlled society where "nobody owns anything and everyone is happy."
