The Young Man Identified as the Leader of Morena Rial's Gang Turned Himself in to the Authorities.
Alan Fernández, pointed out by Morena Rial, showed up at a police station and denied the accusations.
Alan Fernández, the young 23-year-old whom Morena Rial accused of leading a robbery gang in the GBA, turned himself in voluntarily. He did so at a police station and spoke to the press to defend himself.
"There is no gang here. Not because of a comment from a girl who is deprived of liberty do we have to go through all this", he declared when presenting himself to the authorities.

What was his relationship with Morena Rial?
The detainee downplayed his connection with the media personality and stated: "We were friends on social media. I have no relationship of any kind with her". He also avoided commenting on Morena's role in the case: "I leave that in the hands of the lawyer, let him present all the evidence he has to present".
A strategy by Morena to divert attention?
Fernández hinted that Morena's accusation could be a maneuver to divert the investigation. "There are many strange situations here. Someone who takes responsibility for a crime, the next day goes out and puts other people in a compromising position", he stated.
He did not rule out that she might have pointed to him as the leader of the gang with other interests in mind.

Who is still on the run in the case?
Authorities are still searching for Luna González, a young 19-year-old from Córdoba who also might have participated in the robberies. They believe she could be hiding in the interior of the country.
The case remains open, and the Justice system is advancing in the investigation to determine responsibilities.
