The Winner of the Presidential Elections in Romania Announced His Charge Against Soros

Georgescu assured that on the first day of his presidency he will ban the 'Soros Network' throughout Romania.

Călin Georgescu, leader of the recent elections in Romania, whose result was annulled due to alleged Russian interference, has announced that if he becomes Prime Minister, his first measure will be to eliminate all influence of the "Soros network" in the country.

During an appearance on the television program Realitatea Plus, Georgescu firmly stated that he would eradicate organizations linked to George Soros from the first day of his term. He assured that these entities are well known and, therefore, there is no room for their influence in Romania.

Additionally, Georgescu refused to participate in debates with his opponents, opting for a strategy similar to that of other sovereignist leaders. Instead of traditional debates, the Romanian leader promised to organize conferences with the Romanian people, a direct format with the citizenry, avoiding conventional press conferences.

Georgescu emphasized that he had nothing to discuss with what he considered "false adversaries" and pointed out that his government plan would focus on strengthening national production, ensuring sovereignty in key sectors such as food, water, and energy, with the aim of improving the position of Romanian entrepreneurs and producers in the domestic market.

He also hinted that there were surprises prepared for those who tried to block his path to the presidency.

In another context, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, accused the Soros network of fleeing to Brussels to seek funding from European institutions after the administration of Donald Trump eliminated the aid they received from the United States.

Orbán denounced that 63 of these organizations were already seeking funds in Brussels under the guise of projects related to human rights, and warned that they would not allow them to find refuge in Europe. He also mentioned that USAID files had exposed the dark practices of the globalist network.

The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ), part of the Soros network, called on EU leaders to take action to address the global development aid crisis caused by the Trump administration's decisions.

This freezing of funds, which has affected initiatives in favor of false human rights organizations, has caused a funding crisis for NGOs worldwide.

The group requested the EU to ensure continued support for democracy, human rights, global health, and humanitarian assistance, suggesting diplomatic measures to urge the United States to change its course, in addition to prioritizing the funding of leftist causes such as abortion, feminism, and LGTBI propaganda.

At the European level, a new special commission called "European Shield of Democracy" (EDS) has been created, aimed at addressing foreign interference in electoral processes.

MEP Nathalie Loiseau, president of this body, cited as an example the alleged interferences of Russia and the EU in the Romanian elections, which resulted in the cancellation of Georgescu's victory.

The commission will analyze European legislation to combat interferences in democratic processes, focusing especially on interferences through online platforms, cyberattacks, and information manipulation. They will also examine the role of both state and non-state actors in these interferences.

In this context, the new president of the EDS has been strongly linked to Soros due to her membership in the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), a think tank whose largest donor is Soros's Open Society Foundations.

In 2023, Soros's son, Alexander, expressed his support for this political leader, considering her "his best investment." On the other hand, Marion Maréchal criticized the "double standard" in Europe, which favors progressive leaders linked to Soros, like the president of the ECFR, while subjecting conservative leaders to unfavorable treatment.

This landscape of political tensions, accusations of foreign interference, and the growing influence of Soros in European institutions and his NGO networks, has given rise to a debate in which geopolitical, ideological, and economic interests intertwine at the heart of Europe.
