This Wednesday on Ángel de Brito's streaming show, Guido Záffora broke a tough news story focusing on El Trece. "There's a mess..." the journalist hinted to the Bondi Live audience.
Which show won't see the light
"A show is being canceled on one of the most needed TV screens, El Trece," announced the DDM journalist. "It was a mega project that was going to see the light in the middle of the year," he revealed.
He continued: "The channel is left with a huge gap and has no replacement," the journalist stated and shared that "yesterday it was canceled, it's not a postponement."
"This show had two hosting options, including Monchi Balestra, although it wasn't decided," Záffora confessed. He finally revealed that American Idol is the canceled show.
The reasons El Trece removed the show from the schedule
According to the entertainment journalist, "When they found out about all the reality shows Telefe has on the agenda, they talked about postponement. When they told me 'December' I said well, canceled," the journalist assured, assuming it's not a postponement because December is already the end of 2025.
Záffora was able to specify that the channel is convinced that La Voz Argentina, one of Telefe's reality shows, "is going to be very powerful."
El Trece had considered Mario Pergolini to host American Idol
El Trece wanted Mario Pergolini to become the host of American Idol. This was announced by Ángel de Brito on his show "Ángel responde" (Bondi Live).
According to the journalist, "El Trece wants... what Diego Guebel wants, for him to return to television to host." He also highlighted that it would be a minor role, with flexible recordings that would allow him to maintain his lifestyle.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that the production is also considering Laurita Fernández as a host, joined by a jury composed of Alejandro Lerner, Diego Torres, and Mon Laferte.
