The return of La Voz Argentina to Telefe sparked speculations about who will take on the hosting role of the famous talent reality show. With the aim of competing against American Idol (El Trece), the production considered different alternatives for the host role.
Will Marley return to host the show?
On the show Intrusos (América TV), Adrián Pallares revealed that "there are several versions" about the possible hosts. One of the names that resonated strongly was Alejandro Wiebe, known as Marley, who led previous editions of the contest. However, after the conflict he was involved in following some allegations, he was only called for projects like Survivor Expedición Robinson and a future game show.
Another name that caused debate was Wanda Nara. The businesswoman and presenter recently participated in Bake Off Famosos, although her possible selection caused controversy. Karina Iavícoli assured that she was "discarded" due to the Wandagate scandal, although Ángel de Brito maintained that she was still one of Telefe's main options.
Among other candidates, Mariano Iúdica was mentioned. Some close sources indicated that he could take the position, as he previously hosted Soñando por Cantar. Finally, Nico Occhiato, who gained popularity on his streaming show Nadie Dice Nada (Luzu TV), was also considered. However, in the television environment, there were doubts about his readiness for a large audience format.
