The province of Buenos Aires under the Kirchnerist administration of Axel Kicillof continues to record serious episodes of insecurity that end with fatal victims.
Meanwhile, the Buenos Aires governor, along with his Security Minister, denied the security crisis, did not take responsibility, and blamed the Government of Javier Milei, the deaths at the hands of criminals continue to rise.
To the series of homicides during robberies that occurred in 2025, a new murder is now added in the town of Tortuguitas, Malvinas Argentinas district, where in the last few hours a 21-year-old was killed by two motorcycle thieves who attempted to rob him.
The crime took place at the intersection of Buenos Aires and Labardén streets. The victim, identified as Lucas Díaz, was heading to a bus stop located a few meters away when he was attacked.
Díaz was joined by his girlfriend, Abril, who witnessed the entire sequence. According to her testimony to the officers who arrived at the scene, the couple was approached by two armed criminals who threatened them to hand over their belongings.
The young man tried to resist, and in response, one of the assailants shot him, injuring him in the abdomen. After carrying out the attack, the murderers escaped.

After the violent episode, Díaz was urgently taken to a nearby hospital, where he was admitted directly to the operating room due to the severity of the wound. However, despite the efforts of the medical staff, the young man did not survive and died as a result of the bullet impact, according to authorities.
The case was left in the hands of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) No. 22 of Malvinas Argentinas, which ordered a series of measures to identify those responsible for the attack.
Meanwhile, the Tactical Operations Group (GTO) is working on the investigation, analyzing security camera recordings in the area and taking statements from possible witnesses who can provide key information to clarify what happened.

Another homicide
Hours after this tragic episode, the death of Silvia Graciela Lepez was reported, a woman who was killed in Carapachay, Vicente López district, by two criminals who attempted to rob her along with her husband.
The victim received a shot to the head when her husband tried to escape from a group of thieves who ambushed them with the intention of stealing the SUV they were traveling in, a Chevrolet Tracker.
The attack occurred around 8 p.m. on José Hernández Street at 5600, in the northern area of Greater Buenos Aires, approximately nine blocks from a police station.
Before this assault, the criminals had stolen a white Ford Territory at the intersection of Porchia and Misiones streets, just two blocks from where they intercepted the couple. It was reported that the criminals had been following them from San Martín.
