When season 2 of The Last of Us premieres
While it was already known that it would arrive in April, the exact date was confirmed: Sunday, April 13. The premiere comes right after the end of the third season of The White Lotus.
What the second season is about
The first season showed a world devastated by a fungus-induced infection that turned most of the population into aggressive beings. In that context, Joel and Ellie embarked on a journey full of dangers.
Now, the story advances five years. Although it seems the protagonists found some peace, old conflicts and unsolved issues will reappear. Danger still lurks, and the tension will be increasingly greater.

Who stars in the new season
The cast is still led by Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, Gladiator 2) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones). But in this installment, there will be new characters:
- Kaitlyn Dever (No One Will Save You) as Abby.
- Isabela Merced (Alien: Romulus, Madame Web) as Dina.
- Young Mazino (Beef) as Jesse.
