Bullrich Threatened the Terrorists Who Caused Fires: 'now We're Coming for You'

The Secretary of Homeland Security made it clear that the Government won't stop until they pay for the damages caused.

The Minister of Homeland Security, Patricia Bullrich, published a message on social media regarding the fires in Patagonia and those responsible for them.

In a statement through her X account, Bullrich strongly warned the Mapuche terrorists. Alongside a video about the new fires that broke out in "Los Alerces" National Park, captured on Wednesday night, the Minister stated: "Fire terrorists: we're going to find you and make you pay".

Subsequently, she mentioned the reasons for the arson attacks by the Mapuches. "Just a few days after the eviction of the fake Mapuche squatters and the declaration of the RAM as a terrorist organization, they set fire to Los Alerces National Park, confirming that we made the right decision", she revealed.

"They are terrorists. They committed a criminal attack against our land and our people", reaffirmed the minister, who is working alongside the Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, to combat the numerous intentional fires in the region.

In this regard, she warned that "their actions will have the consequences that the Anti-Terrorism Law provides, and we won't stop until they pay for it", and added: "Meanwhile, from the first alert, we deployed water bomber planes, brigades, and heavy machinery to, once again, fight the fires".

To conclude, Bullrich made it clear to the terrorists that they won't escape. "Now we're coming for you", she concluded.

Federal Emergency Agency

A few days ago, President Javier Milei signed a decree establishing the creation of the Federal Emergency Agency, under the Ministry of Security, with the purpose of offering a more centralized and efficient response to natural disasters throughout the country.

The announcement was made by the Ministers of Security, Patricia Bullrich, and Defense, Luis Petri, from El Bolsón, in the province of Río Negro, where a significant forest fire is still active.

Shortly before, alongside the Minister of Justice and Homeland Security, Mariano Cúneo Libarona, Bullrich also announced that the Executive will send to Congress a bill to reform the Penal Code and increase penalties for those who intentionally cause fires.

Meanwhile, Minister Petri stated that the new Agency "will allow an efficient and real-time response to each of the emergencies experienced throughout the national territory".

According to the details provided by Milei's Government, the State currently has twelve different structures in the Ministries of Security, Defense, Human Capital, and the Cabinet Office that deal with emergencies, risk management, firefighting, and disasters.

"Through the new resolution, the effort of all the areas involved will be coordinated from a single Agency that will be formed with the National Council for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection and the National Fire Management Service", anticipated the Government.

Additionally, the head of the Agency will be the representative of the National Government in the Federal Council for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection, which includes representatives from all jurisdictions in the country.
