Since her name was linked to a criminal gang and she was detained on January 22 while traveling in a car with other people who were allegedly going to commit a robbery, Morena has been at the center of public opinion. The criticism intensified when she was arrested on February 5, as while Francesco, her older son of seven years, lives in Córdoba with his father, little Amadeo was left in the care of his grandfather, Jorge Rial. In an Instagram story, she shared a video addressing the struggle of a mother who sees her child suffer due to bullying. Alongside the clip, she wrote a direct message: "With my children no one. People can say what they want, but no one can call me a bad mother because I would give my heart for either of my two children."

The daughter of the C5N host also added: "And those who know me know the kind of mother I am. That's enough for me." Thus, she made it clear that her priority is the well-being of her children and that she will not allow criticism to affect her relationship with them.

Subsequently, she also shared a photo of Amadeo playing, showing the happiness of her four-month-old baby upon reuniting with his mom.
