Milei Denounced the Links Between Corrupt Politicians and Bribed Journalists
In a message on social media, the Argentine president targeted Argentina's political and media establishment.
In a recent post on X, President Javier Milei targeted the political and media caste of Argentina. Through his message on social media, the leader warned about the existence of direct links between "corrupt politicians and bribed journalists," something he has been pointing out since 2021.
The head of state referred to a revelation by journalist Jonatan Viale on Todo Noticias (TN), where it was mentioned that a former presidential candidate, who obtained 11% of the votes, referring to Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, had used resources from the Government of the City of Buenos Aires to finance his campaign and to attack other candidates through paid journalists.
Milei emphasized that "the silence of many self-proclaimed anti-corruption champions is surprising," alluding to the lack of statements from public figures who, only when it suits them, criticize corruption. He also questioned the attitude of those who criticize him and his circle, suggesting they should ask themselves "what kind of people they have been supporting all these years."

President Milei also highlighted that these political attacks through operations are not only against him but have a broader objective: "Neither they nor those who miss those envelopes are coming for me, they are coming for the future of all Argentinians. I'm just in the middle AND I'M NOT GOING TO MOVE."
True to his style, Milei closed his message with his emblematic phrase: "Long live freedom, damn it!", reaffirming his commitment to continue his fight against corruption and the political caste.
Jony Viale's words
Yesterday, journalist Jonatan Viale broke the silence on TN's screen to address the controversial leak of the unedited interview with President Javier Milei. In this context, Viale directed his criticisms at the "bribed journalists," who spent the whole day criticizing him.
On social media, numerous users speculated that Viale's words were especially directed at his former colleagues Eduardo Feinmann and Luis Majul.
If true, the tension with Feinmann is not new and was a reason for distancing, to the point that they stopped doing the handover on LN+, a segment that used to reach high audience levels.

In this context, Jony Viale furiously exploded against the LN+ journalists who "accepted bribes" to support the failed presidential candidate Horacio Rodríguez Larreta: "I didn't accept the money and that's why I left," he stated.
"I already left a place for not wanting to campaign for a politician who got 11 points. I left, or they made me leave...," Viale expressed, looking at the camera. Then, he added firmly: "The same ones who say 'Oh, what a shame.' You took it, I'm talking to you, I didn't take it. You stayed (at the channel)."
In his statement, he continued: "Don't you remember that you took it? You and the other one. I left, and you? Answer. I understand the change and I can handle it. I accept the rules of the game. I'm grown, I was raised in this. I played hard and it's my turn to receive, but don't act smart because I remember everything."
Finally, he launched a harsh accusation: "You took everything, I didn't, I'm clean. They filled themselves with money with political envelopes, you filled yourself with money with the past campaign with that little brown envelope. Do you want me to tell you where, when, and at what moment it was? In which parking lot was it?"
Thus, Viale made his position clear, marking differences with his bribed former colleagues and reaffirming his stance in journalism.
