Mauro Icardi's Lawyer Called Wanda Nara a 'clown' for Disobeying the Judge
The athlete's representative assured that the model is breaking the law by not allowing him to see his daughters.
The legal dispute between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara added a new chapter after the footballer's lawyer, Gonzalo Romero Victorica, described the media personality's behavior as "ridiculous" for not complying with a court order.
According to the lawyer on Mañanísima (El Trece), Icardi will file a criminal complaint against his ex-wife for the crime of "disobedience," after she refused to hand over their daughters within the timeframe stipulated by the judge.
"Disobedience to a court order is a crime, and Mauro is determined to file the corresponding complaint," stated Romero Victorica. He was also blunt when referring to Wanda Nara's request that her daughters not have contact with Eugenia "la China" Suárez, a request that, as he explained, lacks legal basis.

"It's ridiculous. I have no other word. Claiming that someone can't see their children because of a certain company is frankly ridiculous. The only thing that justifies something like this is if that company poses a risk to the children," he expressed bluntly.
The lawyer emphasized that Wanda's refusal is solely due to a personal desire and not a valid legal argument. "The judge, who has now been challenged, appeared in December at the house rented by Mauro in Nordelta along with a social worker and with the remote assistance of a juvenile judge. There they interviewed the girls, who expressed happiness to be with their father in a normal environment," he detailed.
Romero Victorica also stressed that parental rights must be equitable. "The law says that custody must be shared. The mother has as much right as the father to be with their daughters. Mauro has not been able to see them for almost three months, and this is neither fair nor legal," he stated.
Meanwhile, Nicolás Payarola, Wanda Nara's lawyer, offered a different version on Desayuno Americano (América TV). The lawyer denied that his client is committing judicial disobedience and explained that there is currently an appealed resolution. "At this moment, fortunately, there is no longer any type of disobedience because there is an appealed resolution. The new court that took over the case has given suspensive effect to the appeal we filed. We are awaiting the response to that appeal," he explained.
