The increase corresponds to a 1.3% retroactive to December, based on the values of October 2024. With this adjustment, the minimum wages for each category are as follows:
- Supervisors with live-out: $3,413 per hour and $425,769 monthly.
- Supervisors with live-in: $3,738 per hour and $474,259 monthly.
- Personnel for specific tasks with live-out: $3,231 per hour and $395,563 monthly.
- Personnel for specific tasks with live-in: $3,542 per hour and $440,329 monthly.
- Housekeepers: $3,052 per hour and $385,936 monthly.

The domestic workers are grouped into five categories according to the tasks they perform. Each has a determined minimum wage.
1. Supervisors
Responsible for coordinating and controlling the tasks of two or more employees under their charge.
2. Personnel for specific tasks
Includes cooks hired exclusively and any other activity that requires specialized knowledge.

3. Housekeepers
Employees who live in the house where they work and are responsible for general maintenance.
4. Assistance and care of people
Includes the care of elderly, children, sick, or disabled people, without performing therapeutic tasks.
5. Personnel for general tasks
Responsible for cleaning, cooking, washing, ironing, and home maintenance.

When is the increase paid?
The 1.2% increase corresponding to January is paid with the February salaries. Meanwhile, the 1.3% retroactive to December must be paid in the first possible settlement.
