Donald Trump Launched Strong Support for Javier Milei and Invited Him to the White House.

Despite the political maneuvers and fake news spread by the media, President Javier Milei held an anticipated meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump this Saturday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

The much-anticipated meeting included an invitation to the White House, although no further details have emerged yet. The meeting took place after the U.S. President's speech, who praised Milei for his economic policy and the reduction of inflation. "I'm proud of you," Trump said to him from the stage.

The U.S. government confirmed the meeting and highlighted that both leaders discussed the economic reforms promoted by Milei and the possibilities of strengthening bilateral cooperation.

"President Trump met with Argentine President Javier Milei at CPAC, where they discussed President Milei's innovative economic reforms and how our countries can work more closely together," they stated in a release. They also added: "President Trump also invited President Milei to visit the White House in the coming months."

The meeting occurred after Milei delivered his speech on the main stage of the event, in front of a packed auditorium, at a large convention center outside Washington, where the U.S. President also appeared later.

Trump's praises for Milei

Trump mentioned Milei three times during his speech. As soon as he took his place behind the podium, he noted: "Here is our friend from Argentina. Our friend from Poland is also here," referring to Milei and Polish President Andrzej Duda, which prompted a huge ovation in the auditorium.

Off-microphone, while continuing to observe both leaders, he exclaimed: "Great job," and reiterated the praise upon returning to the microphone. A few minutes later, he highlighted Milei's work in reducing inflation and his goal to "make Argentina great again."

"He also reached the Presidency. He's a MAGA man. Make Argentina Great Again," Trump exclaimed, playing with his own slogan and its adaptation to the Argentine context.

In response, Milei stood up, gave a thumbs-up, and greeted enthusiastically. "Argentina is a beautiful country, but, friends, it sure had inflation... Inflation made it less beautiful," added the former U.S. President.

Trump continued with his praises: "I know you're doing fantastic. I'm proud of you... Make Argentina Great Again." Finally, when introducing the guests in the front row, he again addressed Milei, whom he defined as "a great guy."

The much-anticipated meeting

This is the third time Milei has met with Trump since the Republican leader's election victory. In December, they conversed at a gala in Mar-a-Lago, the Republican's residence in Palm Beach, and then had a brief exchange during a party at the presidential inauguration on January 20.

The meeting at CPAC was informal, as it was not on Trump's official agenda, unlike the scheduled meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda, showing the good relationship between Trump and Milei.

In their conversation, they talked about the successful economic reforms carried out by the libertarian administration in Argentina, and Milei was invited to the White House by the U.S. President.

In Argentina, the libertarian president took some measures in line with Trump's decisions, such as leaving the World Health Organization, and received support from influential figures like Elon Musk, who adopted the chainsaw as a symbol of the state's adjustment promoted by Milei.
