Daniela Cardone Remembered the Day She Lost Custody of Brenda Gandini
The renowned actress recalled the five years her daughter lived apart from her. 'It was very hard,' she remarked.
In an emotional interview on LAM (América TV), Daniela Cardone opened her heart and spoke about one of the most difficult moments of her life: losing custody of her daughter, Brenda Gandini. Invited by Ángel de Brito, the model and actress dared to delve into the painful episode that marked her family history.
"It was very difficult. The custody of a child I believe no mother should be taken away from her, and yet, Justice leans more toward those who have money and that kind of thing," Cardone began, visibly affected. The conversation became even more intimate when Karina Iavícoli asked her why she thought the Justice system had decided to grant custody to Brenda's father. Without hesitation, Daniela replied: "I think there was money involved, I'm telling you like it is."
The actress explained that at that time she was living in Buenos Aires and was in a relationship with Rolando Pisanu. As she recalled, one of the judicial arguments was that Brenda couldn't live with her due to the distance. "They told me they couldn't travel. And at that time they had money. I'm sure they bought them because at that time there were three judges," she asserted.

This ruling forced Cardone to travel more than a thousand kilometers to see her daughter, who grew up in Cipolletti with her father, the race car driver Carlos Gandini. "She was raised in the south and I had to go see her. Later, she started coming on her own and I think I spent more money on permits than on the trips. Until at one point my mom told me: 'Enough. She will be grown up soon and will decide who to live with,'" she recalled emotionally.
Daniela also revealed the painful process she went through during those years. "This lasted all through high school because she finished school in Cipolletti. And her father's entire environment was brainwashing her. Not even a prostitute has her child taken away! How can that be?" she exclaimed, reflecting the helplessness she felt in the face of the judicial decision.
