Claudio 'Papucho' Di Lorenzo from Gran Hermano surprised with a video: 'Help me'
The Gran Hermano participant, who underwent an appendicitis surgery, returned with a striking message on his social media.
Claudio "Papucho" Di Lorenzo, participant of Big Brother, underwent emergency surgery last Sunday due to appendicitis, which forced him to temporarily leave the reality show. Fortunately, he is in the process of recovery, and in the midst of this process, he surprised his followers by sharing a video on his social media.
Papucho's announcement to his followers
The former participant posted a video on his Instagram stories, starting with a message of gratitude for the support received. "I wanted to thank you for the support. As you can see, I had a new mess. Incredible, when you're down, everything happens", he said, showing his face with one eye bandaged, cotton in his nose, and his arm immobilized by a cloth. Sadly, he continued recounting an incident where, after being transported on a stretcher, he suffered a fall. "I dislocated my arm, and here we are", he explained, then revealed that it had all been a joke.
"Just kidding, folks! Papucho is coming back, recovering," he clarified, reassuring his followers. He also expressed how grateful he felt for everyone's affection. "I want to come back, help me folks. I'm getting better and better," he concluded.
Claudio's diagnosis and medical intervention in Big Brother
On February 9, before a new elimination gala, the Big Brother contestants were informed by the program's voice about Claudio's health status. "He woke up with severe abdominal pain", Big Brother explained. After conducting the necessary tests, the doctors determined that his appendix was affected, which required emergency surgery. The voice of the reality show highlighted that the operation was successful and that Claudio was well, joined by his loved ones and in the hands of highly skilled professionals.

"He is doing very well, don't worry. He is still hospitalized, but he is in the process of recovery", Big Brother expressed to reassure the participants. Claudio's visibly concerned companions sent their best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Claudio, in turn, appeared calmer in a video he recorded from the clinic. "Here is the little operated one, already recovering", he said, revealing that the pain he felt was due to appendicitis. "God willing, I'll go home tomorrow", he added, surrounded by his group of friends.

Finally, Claudio shared how he felt emotionally about having to leave the reality show in that way. "I'm a bit down about leaving like this, but I promise I'll come back someday in some way", he expressed with an optimistic tone, before sending a final message to his Big Brother companions: "Make war tanks, guys!"
With the support of his followers and the affection of his companions, Claudio continues his recovery, while he awaits medical discharge to return home.
