The conflict between the celebrities adds a new chapter in Türkiye. According to reports, Wanda Nara landed a role that was intended for China Suárez in a soap opera financed by a Galatasaray magnate. Coincidence or revenge?
With just a few hours apart, Mauro Icardi, China Suárez and Wanda Nara landed in Istanbul with completely different objectives. While the footballer traveled to rejoin Galatasaray, the actress joined him on the trip. Meanwhile, Wanda arrived to receive a prestigious award at the Europe Awards.
However, in recent hours it became known that the host of Bake Off Famosos also had another mission in Türkiye. She sought to secure an important lead role in a soap opera, the same one that had supposedly been offered earlier to China Suárez.
Did China Suárez reject the role or was it taken from her?
According to journalist Guille Barrios on Ritmo y Café (IP), China Suárez had allegedly rejected the lead role in a soap opera produced by a businessman linked to Galatasaray. This left the door open for another figure to take her place.
"And do you know who is the name to replace her in that lead role? Wanda Nara! She got the role!" Barrios exclaimed. Nancy Duré added: "It's going to cause a stir! This war is just beginning. It must be a magnate with a lot of money, more than us for sure."
The possibility of Wanda Nara making her debut on Turkish television could mean a setback for China Suárez, who had intentions of expanding her career in Türkiye.
