The Uncomfortable Exchange Between Luis Novaresio and Carolei on Air: 'i Say What I Want'

The host  Luis Novaresio was involved in a tense moment with his panelist during the broadcast of Buen día A24 (A24), which caused a stir on social media.

The reason for the live confrontation

Luis Novaresio was interviewing Marina, a woman who had been a victim of a violent robbery in Villa Celina.  During the conversation, the journalist made a call for solidarity to get her a cellphone:  "We need a cellphone for Marina. Someone help us... We just saw the alias," he pointed out.

At that moment, one of his panelists, Fernando Carolei, allegedly said something off-air, which provoked the host's reaction. Visibly upset, he exposed him during the broadcast: "Why shouldn't I say it? I'm going to say it, Carolei."

Novaresio's response

Far from remaining silent, Novaresio continued his on-air outburst: "Carolei is going to get you a cellphone because he's a good person. He told me not to say it and I don't care... I host the show, I say what I want. The last thing I need," the host insisted.

The clip was shared on social media by the X user @TeleBizarra, who provided more details about the situation. According to the explanation, Carolei had offered to donate a cellphone but requested that his gesture not be mentioned on air to maintain anonymity.

The episode quickly went viral, sparking debate among viewers about the host's reaction and his panelist's intention. Novaresio's attitude was seen on social media as "authoritarian."
