Nacho Ortelli Slammed Florencia Peña for Her Statements Against Carlos Tévez
The journalist from Radio Rivadavia and A24 accused Peña of defending corrupt governments for 15 years.
Journalist Ignacio Ortelli launched a strong criticism against Florencia Peña on his Radio Rivadavia program, after the actress publicly questioned former player Carlos Tévez. Ortelli expressed his disagreement with Peña and highlighted that he preferred actresses who did not benefit from their closeness to power.
The journalist stated his position regarding the controversy and listed the characteristics he valued in an actress. "I like actresses who don't seek partisan gain, who aren't behind the choripán. "I like actresses who defend the republic, I like actresses committed to political sectors that above all don't order prosecutors to be killed," he addressed Peña.
Ortelli also emphasized that he preferred actresses committed to reality and not to the benefits of the governments of the day. Additionally, he pointed out that he did not share Peña's political view and accused her of defending corrupt governments for 15 years.
The controversy over Florencia Peña's remarks about Tévez
The controversy arose from Peña's statements on the program "Azzaro al horno". There, the actress expressed her discontent with Tévez's stance: "I always liked him a lot as a player, but I don't like who he has become. I think he forgot a little about where he came from."
Her words caused widespread repudiation, and Ortelli did not hesitate to respond. "I agree with Carlitos Tévez in his stance on Kirchnerism and I'm very far from Florencia Peña's political view. I like actresses who didn't take advantage of their friendships during the pandemic to end up at the Olivos residence," he concluded.
The journalist's statements reignited the controversy and put the relationship between some artists and political power in Argentina at the center of the debate.
