According to his explanation, the midwife told them it wasn't necessary to go to the clinic immediately,  despite Juana having strong contractions.  "She sent me to buy some medicine, she took it, but the contractions continued. At that moment I said 'enough' and we went to the hospital, but we arrived ten minutes late. With so much contraction, the baby had pooped inside and that... It was terrible," he confessed visibly affected.

The grieving process and his relationship with death

Valenzuela recalled how he faced the grief and prioritized his partner's well-being at that time.  "It was very hard, but the first thing I did was take care of Juana, because she didn't have that relationship with death. For me, the main thing was her,"  he explained.

The actor, who lost a brother and his parents in his youth, stated that he has developed a particular relationship with death.  "I'm not afraid of it, I respect it," he affirmed. He also spoke about his bond with Ámbar, Juana's eldest daughter, whom he raised with love, but without taking the place of her biological father.
