They Expand the Complaint Against Pablo Grasso for Irregular Land Allocation
The research also reveals possible legal and ethical incompatibilities in the distribution of the fiscal lots.
The Provincial Executive announced it continues with legal actions to clarify alleged irregularities in the allocation of fiscal lands in the El Faro neighborhood, Río Gallegos, during the administrations of Pablo and María Grasso.
The investigation exposes a possible arbitrary handling of lands, without respecting the administrative processes established by the current regulations.
New criminal complaints for fraudulent administration
According to the official statement, two new criminal complaints have been filed, each directed at the former officials. The accusations are based on articles 248 and 174, section 5 of the Penal Code, which typify the breach of duties of public officials and the fraudulent administration of state assets.
The new evidence deepens the suspicions about irregularities in the allocation of lands, indicating that:
- Lots were given to beneficiaries who did not meet the required administrative requirements.
- The corresponding legal controls were not applied in the allocation process.
- The allocation of lands was carried out during Pablo Grasso's electoral campaign, suggesting a possible political use of state resources.

Incompatibilities and patrimonial damage to the State
The investigation also reveals possible legal and ethical incompatibilities in the distribution of fiscal lots. The report states that the discretionary handling of public land may have caused patrimonial damage to the State and affected transparency in the administration of urban land.
The new complaints expand the previously detected irregularities, incorporating legal and administrative elements that reinforce the seriousness of the case.
It is worth remembering that:
- Pablo Grasso held the presidency of the Urban Development and Housing Institute (IDUV) between 2015 and 2019.
- María Grasso led the organization between 2022 and 2023.
Ongoing audit to make land management transparent
The current administration of the IDUV has initiated a comprehensive audit on the allocations of recent years, with the aim of:
- Making the management of urban land transparent.
- Ensuring that the allocation of lots is carried out equitably and in accordance with current regulations.
With the progress of the judicial investigation, it is expected to clarify the real impact of these maneuvers on state assets and determine responsibilities in the administration of lands in Río Gallegos.
