Huge Protest by Residents in La Plata for Kim Gómez and Against Axel Kicillof
Indignation and anger against Governor Axel Kicillof and Mayor Julio Alak was felt throughout the city.
A massive demonstration took place in front of the Municipality of La Plata, where hundreds of people gathered to demand justice for the brutal murder of Kim Gómez, a 7-year-old girl who was killed by two criminals, also minors, while they were stealing a car.
The protest ended with serious damage to the local Kirchnerist government headquarters. Moreover, the outrage and anger against Governor Axel Kicillof and Mayor Julio Alak were felt throughout the city.
After the news of the crime that shocked society and the shocking results of the autopsy, which have already been incorporated into the case by the Scientific Police, a large number of people from La Plata decided to join the father and his family at the burial.

Then, the mobilization moved to Plaza Moreno, the epicenter of the city, where justice was demanded and greater security measures in a territory completely left to criminals.
During the protest at the Municipality, moments of extreme tension were experienced due to the justified fury of the demonstrators, who denounce the lack of responses to the growing problem of insecurity that, due to the inaction of the Kirchnerist government, claims a new victim every day.
After venting their anger against the municipal building, the mobilization advanced six blocks to the Government House of the province of Buenos Aires, where the demands were directed at Governor Axel Kicillof, demanding concrete measures to stop the serious crime wave.

In front of the provincial government headquarters, the demonstrators approached the building's fences and, amid pot-banging and horns, the people's indignation was expressed through chants like "They all must go, not a single one should remain".
One of the demonstrators criticized the populist model of Kirchnerism to the press: "I want security, I don't care about a nice square where there's no security and kids are killed every day. It's basic".
Among the main demands of the crowd that filled the center of La Plata, there were also strong criticisms of the Judiciary. "There are lenient judges, criminals enter through one door and leave through another", they expressed.
Additionally, there is a growing demand to lower the age of criminal responsibility so that minors under 18 can be tried as adults, something that the Government of Javier Milei has sought since the beginning of its administration, but that Congress has not yet approved.
