Chiche Gelblung in the Midst of Controversy: Live Discussion and Resignation of a Panelist

After the scandal, the former panelist sent a message to 'Ángel Responde' and framed the incident within gender violence.

A strong clash between  Chiche Gelblung and Matilde Badini on Radio del Plata ended with the panelist's resignation on air. The host confronted her during a conversation about mental health, and the discussion escalated to her definitive departure from the program.

A debate that ended in scandal

The conflict began when Badini expressed her opinion on the duration of psychoanalytic treatments: "Two years with a psychoanalyst do nothing." Gelblung replied with irony:  "Well, fine, you're a psychoanalyst."

Badini clarified that she was speaking from her personal experience as a patient, but the host reacted annoyed:  "Is it possible that you want to know everything? You can't know everything!" The panelist didn't stay silent and fired back:  "I don't like listening to nonsense." In response,  Gelblung asked her to leave: "Well, then leave if you don't like it. You can leave. Leave if you don't want to listen to nonsense."

Amidst shouting, the journalist accused her of being insolent and demanded respect: "Don't offend for no reason, insolent. You're insolent, at least respect the hierarchy."

Matilde Badini's resignation live

Although the program continued normally, before it ended, Badini asked to speak to say goodbye: "I thank you for all the time I was here. I'm an inexperienced addition, I'm not a journalist. I tried to contribute small things but from the heart."

Finally, she made it clear that her decision was final: "I can't return after this afternoon's mistreatment, I feel dismissed." Meanwhile, Gelblung closed the show without commenting on the resignation.

Ángel de Brito defended the host:  "I still support Chiche even if some hate me. This is a malicious comment," said the host of Ángel Responde on  Bondi Live.  He also questioned Badini's stance:  "If Chiche was a son of a bitch as you say, what were you doing there?" he concluded.

The former panelist sent a message to journalist Santiago Riva Roy, who read it on air to the audience of  Bondi Live.  "I don't want to give this episode more attention. I'm not a journalist and I don't earn a dime for going to the program," the text said.   It also stated that her time on the show was positive, but she denounced the treatment other members received: "Everyone knows about his mistreatment, I see it daily. People accept it because they have to eat. I don't," Badini wrote to Riva Roy.

In her message, Badini emphasized that her dignity didn't allow her to overlook what happened and issued a strong warning: "I hope he doesn't do a piece on gender violence..." she expressed, hinting that the episode on air is framed in those terms.
