ANSES Home Program: How to know if you're a beneficiary in February 2025?

The Hogar Program by ANSES is intended for people who do not have access to the gas network. 

This subsidy covers part of the cost of the gas cylinder, benefiting those low-income households living in areas without residential gas.

Requirements to access the Hogar Program

To be a beneficiary of the gas cylinder subsidy, it is necessary to meet certain requirements established by ANSES:

• No natural gas service: No member of the household should have a natural gas service in their name.
• Maximum income: Household income must not exceed two minimum vital and mobile wages. In the case of a self-employed worker, the limit is up to category C. For households with people with disabilities, the limit is extended to three minimum wages.
• Geographic exceptions: In some provinces like La Pampa, Neuquén, and Río Negro, income can be up to 2.8 minimum wages. In households with people with disabilities, the cap rises to 4.2 wages.

Additional requirements by zone

In cold areas of Argentina, such as Tierra del Fuego and some localities in the north of the country, income can be higher to access the subsidy. If you live in these areas, you can access an extra amount in your aid for gas use.

How to know if I am a beneficiary of the Hogar Program?

To verify if you are a beneficiary of the Hogar Program, you can follow these steps:

• Mi Argentina: Log in to the application with your CUIL and password. Go to "Mis Cobros" to find out if you have pending payments.
• Contact ANSES: You can contact by calling 0800-222-7376 or send an email to programahogar@mecon.gob.ar for more details.
• Web form: You can also complete a form on the official ANSES website to obtain information.

How much is paid by the Hogar Program in February 2025?

The amount of the subsidy varies according to the size of the household and the area in which you live. The value is set by the Energy Secretariat and may have an additional amount during the winter months or if there are more than 5 people in your household.

How to request additional gas cylinders?

If you live in southern provinces or cold areas, you can request additional gas cylinders. Check the list of localities included in Law 27.637 to know if you are eligible.

Reasons why you may not receive the subsidy in February 2025

If you do not meet the established requirements, the gas cylinder subsidy may not be granted. Some of the reasons are:

• Income above the limit: If your household exceeds the income threshold, you must approach ANSES.
• Living in an area with natural gas: If you have access to natural gas, you must present a certificate proving it.
• Duplicate benefit: If there is more than one person in your family group receiving the subsidy, you must regularize the situation at ANSES.
